  •  Most children find walking barren: Bike, scooter, wheel, inline skates, or kickboards enrich the variety of movement.
  •  Do not forget the classics: Games such as Gummitwist, walking on stilts, catching and hiding, bocce or sack jumping are also possible in backyards.
  •  Children do not brake unnecessarily: Often the little ones use low walls to balance on the way, jump over stones, jump from stairs, or wind through posts. Parents should think carefully about which movement games they must forbid their child for safety reasons.
  •  Allow movement indoors: For example, equip the nursery with mattresses or foam elements. Even a small indoor trampoline does not take up much space.

In addition, good infrastructure can help families become more mobile. For example, the more secure and user-friendly cycle paths there are, the more families undertake joint tours.
